Public Access Computers

We provide free access to the internet and computer workstations.  Reservations are recommended but not required.

Headsets are the responsibility of the patron. At times we may have donated ones for patrons to borrow, but this is not a guaranteed service.

Black and white or colour printing and photocopying services are available at our Norwood Branch. Printing and photocopying in black and white only are available at our Westwood Branch. See Printing Services for pricing.

Wireless Access

Each ANPL Branch is a WiFi Hotspot. The library offers free wireless Internet access. There is no password required. Anyone with a laptop or handheld device equipped with a wireless card can connect to the Internet through wireless access. Complete information about this service is available at all check-out desks.

Software Available

The Public Access Computers have Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Publisher.

Electronic Collections

Access our Library Catalogue through the internet. Use our Online Services tab to find newspaper and magazine articles online, search encyclopedias and other databases, browse for e-books and e-audio books, or look up reference information.

Need Help?

Staff are ready to assist you in using the software and searching the Web. We hold one-on-one tutorials if you need specific help, and hold classes for general computer help such as social networking, email, and using e-readers.

Although we may not be familiar with every program you wish to use, we will assist you as time and knowledge permits.
