Public Access Computers
We provide free access to the internet and computer workstations for a maximum of one hour per day during peak times. Reservations are recommended but not required.
Black and white printouts are available at $0.25 per page. The Norwood Branch also has coloured printouts available at $1.00 per page. Headsets are the responsibility of the patron and at times we may have donated ones for patrons to borrow, but this is not a guaranteed service.
Each ANPL Branch is a WiFi Hotspot. The library offers free wireless Internet access. Anyone with a laptop or handheld device equipped with a wireless card can connect to the Internet through wireless access. Complete information about this service is available at all check-out desks.
The Public Access Computers have Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Publisher.
Access our Library Catalogue through the internet. Use our links page to find newspaper and magazine articles online, search encyclopedias and other databases, browse for e-books and e-audio books, or look up reference information.
Staff are ready to assist you in using the software and searching the Web. We hold one-on-one tutorials if you need specific help, and hold classes for general computer help such as social networking, email, and using e-readers.
Although we may not be familiar with every program you wish to use, we will assist you as time and knowledge permits.
Where do you go to grow? Try your public library. A visit will get you thinking!
