Volunteer

The Asphodel-Norwood Public Library’s volunteer program wants you! The ANPL has a dynamic volunteer program with many rewarding opportunities. By sharing a few hours of your time, you can support your library and make a difference in the community.

We are in the process of expanding our program and need new volunteers to help with a wide range of duties.

We currently have the following position(s) available at ANPL

  • Library Volunteer Organizer
  • Library Display Designer
  • Computer Instructors
  • Green Thumb Gardener
  • Booksale Volunteer
  • Library Class Visit Assistant
  • Storytime Volunteer
  • Youth Programming Volunteer

You will never be asked to perform a task with which you are uncomfortable. Orientation and training are required and provided. Because your needs as a volunteer may change over a period of time, our volunteer program offers the flexibility of reassignment or rescheduling.

If you are interested in becoming an ANPL Volunteer please contact a library staff member. We will gladly provide you with information about our program as well as the screening and placement process.

Volunteers who complete over 50 hours are eligible for a letter of reference and will receive public recognition through nameplates.

We invite you to volunteer with us!
